I am running as a Democrat from Bremerton for State Representative in the 35th Legislative District. I come from a continued family tradition of public service. My wife, Leslie, and I are the proud foster parents to over 50 children and have participated in helping families rebuild their lives after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

With my life experiences, strong set of values, and legislative experience, I will fight for the issues important to our district, which include:

• Economic Viability—by supporting local businesses and bringing living wage and Green jobs home.
• Responsible Stewardship—by caring for our environment, controlling growth, and working to protecting our lands.
• Health Care—we can and must improve coverage for all. This is not just a moral priority. We need to find ways to make it a long-term economic investment as well.
